This sweet island girl from Puerto Rico is ready to find her forever family! At just 5 months old, spayed, microchipped, and 15 lbs, Stella is the perfect petite size with plenty of puppy love to give. Her sleek black coat and soulful eyes make her absolutely stunning—but it’s her gentle, affectionate personality that truly makes her shine.

Stella is playful, curious, and soaking up the world around her. She loves to explore, cuddle, and charm everyone she meets. Like many Puerto Rican rescue pups, she has a loyal heart and a resilient spirit. She’s current on vaccines and ready to continue learning all the good-girl basics with a family who will guide her with patience and love.

foster update:  Stella is a very sweet little love bug  with a playful personality and also very smart! She can be shy at first but is confident once she’s comfortable. She learned sit in the first day we had her and learned behavioral down by mimicking our beagle. She can be food motivated but is more receptive to praising. She conquered the stairs faster than other dogs do and loves a good stuff toyed animal to play with. She plays well with our dogs and enjoys a good game of tug-a-war but favors being cuddled up with us on couch. 

Potty training is a learning curve, she will have at least one accident in the house but does not potty in the crate.
